We are a bit different, but something very valuable:
18 different characters - 1 real team - just "listen"!
“I found this company to be my own boss and I enjoyed the thought never again to hear: you have to wear a tie if you visit customers. It is important to me, that my colleagues feel that way in out team as well.
In our firm we live the worth, that all of us may work with us till they retire. Nobody will be put to the scrap heap just due to his or her age. The experience of everybody in the team is more worthy than gold. And I can always rely on the Know-How and the motivation.
That really makes me proud and I thank them much too rare. So, here once again for everybody in the team: Thank‘s for your commitment. Thank‘s for your perseverance and thank’s that you are like you are, - even if I am a little impatient sometimes!"

"I joint the SAB because here we live responsibility. Responsibility for the humans we work with but also for our customers who count on us. Sometimes I’m still astonished what we shall construct and build. But in the end it always works. We don’t value technology as itselfs, we value the worth of technology, the benefit for the customer. This is also a part of our responsibility." |

„Although I joint the SAB in the beginning of 2007, I feel really safe with all my new colleagues as my little son Manuel in my arms! My personal goal is, to support our customers to reach their targets. Partnership and respectfully communication is as important for me as my family, friends and colleagues. Matching to this, my professional motto is: why not turning customers into friends?” |

"Southeners are known as really spirited, aren’t they? Well I am a bit more quiet. Although I am not shy, I appreciate to work in a quite and balanced atmosphere. Due to our lively little son, I have the real southern atmosphere at home. But on Wednesdays my latin temperament breaks through. Than I share a passion with some colleagues: Soccer – there my energy is very obvious.” |

"I think it’s great that nobody tells me, in which way I shall work. And I like it, that I’m not always asked: How far is the project, how long will it take? Our bosses (they don’t like to be called like that :-) ) trust us and they take time for us if we don’t get ahead sometimes. Furthermore we laugh a lot at work and if I really don’t get further with a problem I go into the garden to think around the box. As Paul Watzlawick said: "I am free, because I am not in the mercy of reality, I can design reality.“ |

"Here at SAB I can easily combine profession and family. I work apprx. 20 hours a week and I can organise worktime myself. When it’s hectic I stay a little longer in the office and when it is more quiet, than I enjoy more spare time with our son Kevin. I really like, that my colleagues don’t whisper behind my back if I just work between 10.00 am and 1.00 p.m. sometimes. Where do you still find this these days?" |

"Deep in my heart I am a real Tecki. I learned at SAB, that two hearts can beat in my body. Without mechanics and software, which my colleagues develop, my creations wouldn’t work as well. Every part is important. Important for me is, that my familily tells I am cheerful and well-balanced since I work for SAB." |

"With respect: my name is Buchardt, Thomas Buchardt, and I have the licence to develop. I admit it is my passion as well. I am as software junkie! On the photo at the left you watch me at a time-out. I am grateful to my wife, because she often reminds me that a computer can be switched off. Sometimes I’m that deep in my work that I don’t remember: What was the routine to shut down the PC? But the detox really does me good. And afterwards I can sit a bit longer in front of my loved machines without somebody reminding me ..." |

"Software design is sometimes if you bear one’s cross! You develop and develop and you have thaaaat many ideas what you still can do for your customers and than: hooops, you find yourself in front of the question: Does the customer really needs it? Does he want it, or do I entertain myself? Than you need to stop yourself, because, to tell the truth: who need the 125th evaluation for the same subject or an additional blinking lamp. The real challenge in software design is to concentrate on the essence and to be ready in time. |

"Female engineers are still rare on the German market and sometimes it really annoyes me that people still deny that women have technical competence. Than I often wish to tell: Come on world, wake up! It’s not that difficult. My colleagues already managed!" |

"I started my career in the service are of telecommunication business. There the customer orientation hides more and more. But with the SAB I really feel good. They still now how important a good service is and they won’t leave you out in the rain!” |

"Documentation is a dry topic you mean? Nothing more than borring and unknowable manuals? No way! If you feel like this, you never read one of my manuals. I am still crazy on describing systems that way, you can feel it is a child’s play to use them. My operating guidelines are clear and easy to understand. And if a topic appears to be too dry, I go back to my roots of Moselle and indulge myself a good wine – Certainly semi-dry!" |

"Sometimes my colleagues tell me, that I have a bit of a „resolute“ charm. This may depend on the fact that my job is related to my character. Logistics result from logic and logic is something very realistic. But don’t misunderstand me. Although I am a Westphalian, I don’t go into the cellar to laught, even if there is the beer. |

"I joined the SAB by chance! Jürgen and me have been neighboors for 10 years and we played soccer together. (This we still so) One evening, we sat on the balcony and enjoyed a good glas of wine, when he asked me if I would like to work for him. At first I had some reservations if it might be good to work with friends. But today I can say: The best job-related descision I ever made!" |

"You caught me! Yes, I belong to the rare species of smokers and here I smoke while working. But often I don’t manage to take a break while assemling, because I don’t like to find myself in hecticness to make up lost time. Finally our machines have to start at a certain point of time. That needs commitment! And I am really proud that we are always ready in time. Even if it means I have to do without a cigarette break. Only for this reason you caught me!" |

"It’s said, that men don’t loose their play instinct. That’s true! And I belong to the lucky people that can use their play instinct at work. Simply I changed the Lego bricks with some bigger components. It still amuses me to merge all parts to a whole thing. |

"Oh my goodness. Sometimes it’s really hard to understand my colleagues! Imagine what wonderful words developers know! But to give them their due: If I don’t understand words like “incremental giver” it always shows somebody up to explain me. And they describe in a way that I’m able to understand and that I’m enabled to give you an understanding of our work. Before I alreay worked with engineers, but never with that nice ones. Imagine you join the SAB. As far as you start, you have a bunch of new frieds. Unthinkable you mean? That’s exactly what I tought before, but it’s adaptive!" |
